An art kid in need...

uses Mrs. Campbell's blog indeed!

Ok, so this is my fancy frilly art piece that's giving me headaches, nightmares, and fits of "ARRRRRGGHHHHH!!!!!!". I need some more ideas for the border. I hear there are creative people reading this--help, please?

The Dreamer...in progress by ~TulipFalls on deviantART

  1. Definitely more flowers.. here, try and picture this:
Along the left side, do cascading flowers that go down the side, like navy blue colored ones, white and pink etcccc
And to accent her outfit, do a frilly kind of fabric under the flowers so that it sticks out
    And maybe a ribbon? Dunno
Well, I hope my example helps ^_^

  6. Okay, after reading the poem, I think there are a lot of elements from the poem that you could tie into your art piece! It seemed to me that in the poem you have a good heroine figure, surrounded by some darker elements. I'm not sure if you want your piece to focus only on the heroine and the light aspects of the poem, or not, but what about incorporating some darker elements into the background? What stood out to me was the whispers, shadows, and raindrops. My ideas, um...?, shadowy figures looming behind her, some rain falling down in the same style of the eyes and lips (really shiny), or if you could write out some of the whispers she hears, then you could make them swirl around her, like wind. Hope that helps! It's looking great!
