Danny is cool, too.

I started drawing this around March or April and finished it during Physics final exam during junior year. I still carry this thing around but it now has nacho cheese smear on it.

  1. The only thing that bugs me is the lack of detail on the front part of the ship compared to others. How dare you neglect your duties in equal representation of details as a whole.

  2. Why I'd never! How dare you criticize me in such direspectful manner! I challenge you to a duel!

  3. I believe you have a split personality.

    Lol.

To get rid of nacho cheese smear--how about adding colour? I think it would look very cool with a color palette like this:

  6. That drawing is a lot smaller than you think. Almost all of the lines are no wider than 0.1mm and it's going to take an extremely sharp color pencil to keep the colors in its boundaries.

  7. Danny- very cool. What about a concentration of similar very very very detailed pen & ink drawings of surreal, yet recognizable ships, planes, autos, machines, spacecrafts, etc.? Some could be zoomed in views, views of multiple machines, machines arranged in a design or abstract composition? It might be neat to vary pen thickness/ line width, too.

  9. JEEZ DANNY this is amazing :D I would leave it as it is, but add blue around it in the background to enhance the detail.

  10. Go over it in pen, then color it in prisma markers. Where is the cheese smear? I can't see it. If it's on the ship, draw it again. If it it's in the background, cut it out or something like that. THIS. IS. AWESOME!

  12. You know, I actually thought about coloring it, but I'm probably going to end up doing it in computer since the paper's only 21.5cm x 16.5 cm.

    Bah, I lost the game.
